Scripting the Script

I'm just writing away. Writing writing writing. It's good though. I'm at page 57 of the printed out old version (which has 102 pages) and on page 81 of the re-write. I think there are going to be significant changes in the last 45 pages. Mostly cutting. The old version of the script highly revolved around Brandon, Colin and Jared's part of the story. Since the film is now more of a collection of interacting stories, Jared's Brandon's and Colin's is going to get cut down. That's just the way it is. But I made a lot of progress yesterday and the film's going to be great. I'm so excited. However I did run into a plot snag. More of a logic thing. People being in two places at once. It appears I've written myself in a corner and need to do some back tracking. But I'm confident it will work it's self out. I called the copy stores yesterday while I was taking a break to see how much it's going to cost to make like 100 copies of a 100 page script. yikes. Like $500. If I provide my own paper it will only be $150. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve so we'll see.
